Emercive: Weekly Releases in April

 

April 27, 2018 -- In its first complete month of operation, Emercive Recordings released a record on each and every Friday of April, with singles by returning artists from the label debut compilation, Converge, Vol. 1, which came only two weeks before. 

On April 06, the much anticipated Army of the Dead came from Rhyot, following the track's preview in December of 2017 on deadmau5's Mau5trap Mondays live stream. A video of the event, hosted on Rhyot's YouTube channel, has garnered over 56,000 views in the time since. The single was voted as runner-up in the Audio Apostles Collective 'Track of the Week' community vote to another Emercive release, Frozen, by D.O & Sysdemes.

April 13 brought the inter-continental collaborative project of D.O (Munich, Germany) and Sysdemes (San Diego, CA), titled Frozen. The cross-pollinated blend of stylings from the progressive house and melodic techno genres was remarkably well received on Spotify with over 50,000 streams. Frozen was shuffled into official "Release Radar" playlists around the globe, and included on "Yeni: Dans", a playlist curated by Grammy-nominated Dutch DJ and producer, Armin van BuurenFrozen also went on to win recognition as Audio Apostles Collective's 'Track of the Week', announced on April 19. 

On April 20, Sysdemes returned with Cathedral, his third release on the label. The single was quickly supported by his audiences as it went on to secure another 'Track of the Week' distinction from the Audio Apostles Collective community, announced April 26.

Lastly, and to close out the month, Boston-based brother duo Bad Eye released a heavyhitting electro single, Giant PacificReceiving a quick rush of positive response, the single was named 'Track of the Week' by the Audio Apostles Collective community, announced May 03, making it the third consecutive win for Emercive's releases.
