Emercive's 'Converge, Vol. 2' Compilation takes multiple Beatport #1 spots

November 21, 2018 -- As the dust settles following the October 26th release of Emercive’s Converge, Vol. 2 a myriad of notable achievements became a part of the album’s history, marking the ten-track LP as the independent record label’s best piece yet.

The second instalment to the Converge compilation series was met with great support from the collective audiences of ten artists included on the record, driving the best-selling album to the tops of multiple Beatport Top 100 charts including #1 release positions in the genres of Melodic House & Techno, Electro House, Electronica / Downtempo, and Indie Dance / Nu Disco, as well as #3 peak-positions in Techno and Tech House, and finally securing a #9 peak in the Top 100 releases overall.

The record included reprisals from the entirety of the Converge, Vol. 1 roster (Bad Eye, D.O, Doorstep Rebellion, Rhyot, and Sysdemes), alongside LUNR [Astralwerks, mau5trap, Understated] who was previously featured on 28mm’s Re: Companion remix EP which was released by Emercive in July, as well as the introduction of three new artists, including 80M, ASHE [mau5trap], and Kiro (also known as Foxhunt [Tasty]).

Converge, Vol. 2, covering a span of electronic music subgenres, hit stores alongside releases by Varien [Most Addictive] and Riva Starr [Truesoul], followed soon after by Wolfgang Gartner [ALT Vision], Nora En Pure [Enormous], and mau5trap’s mau5ville: Level 2. The Emercive compilation made its exit from Beatport’s charts after a 25-day run.
